ABOUT

Toni Carlson is a painter, business owner and managing partner of a plumbing and mechanical company. Toni lives in Maple Ridge, British Columbia and was born in Mission, British Columbia. Art has always been a part of her upbringing with her grandmother and father working as practicing artists which ultimately lead her to her interest and discovery of fine art.  After completing her Diploma in General Studies at the University of the Fraser Valley Toni rediscovered her love for fine art and decided to continue on with her education by enrolling in the Bachelor of General Studies with an Extended Minor in Visual Arts at the University of the Fraser Valley. While attending courses Toni participated in two gallery exhibitions at the S'eliyemetaxwtexw Art Gallery. She also worked in the Office of the Registrar at the University of the Fraser Valley gaining many years of Office Administration experience before moving on to help manage her family's plumbing and mechanical business. Over the years of creating new pieces, Toni has received many inquiries to create work for others to display in their homes and businesses which has inspired her to start her own fine art business.
